To support accurate coding for Primary Care and Family Medicine, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Medical Coder will assign diagnostic and procedure codes, monitor work queues, and generate coding queries while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Assign accurate diagnostic and procedure codes according to clinical documentation and coding guidelines Monitor assigned work queues to ensure timely charging and coding of records Generate coding queries for clarification regarding physician documentation as needed Required qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC (CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS) 2+ years of experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding focused on Primary Care and Family Medicine 2+ years of experience with PCs in a Windows environment, including MS Excel and EMR systems
