This role drives daily operations while building systems, teams, and production discipline required to meet development and/or stoping targets. The Superintendent ensures alignment with project schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements, and fosters a performance culture grounded in safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Safety, Health, Environment & ComplianceOperational Leadership & DeliveryPeople & Contractor ManagementPlanning, Cost & Continuous ImprovementStakeholder & Cross-Functional CoordinationRequirements:10+ years underground mining experience, including leadership roles.3–5+ years in Superintendent / Senior Supervisor / Shift Boss capacity.Proven track record leading UG mining projects through ramp-up or expansion phases.Strong understanding of UG mining methods, ground control, ventilation, drill/charge/blast, hauling, and backfill (as relevant).Demonstrated ability to deliver against schedule, budget, and production targets.Working knowledge of mine planning principles and production reconciliation.Familiarity with UG mobile equipment fleets and maintenance interface.
