Mining Engineer

You will play an instrumental role in the organization helping to drive continuous and operational excellence, from brine extraction to finished product. Help drive/advance forecasting, budgeting, data analysis, and continuous improvement across the operation. Troubleshoot broad engineering issues (process, quality, operational extraction, economics, etc.) in a hands-on, field-based environment. Partner with operations and pond teams to stabilize plant performance and manage brine systems. Align cavern, pond, and plant operations to meet production and quality targets. Optimize key processes (flotation, dewatering, material handling) to improve recovery and throughput. Lead improvement initiatives and capital projects, ensuring results stick in the field.

Demonstrated experience in a mining or chemical processing operation coupled with a bachelor's degree in engineering (mining, chemical, mechanical, industrial, etc.). Ability to balance intellectual design with "hands on" field execution. You must be comfortable shifting between a climate-controlled office and rugged industrial field locations. Must be able to effectively gather, synthesize, analyze and package/present environmental information to internal and external stakeholders.
