The position involves working at Mather Hospital and South Shore University Hospital, both recognized for their commitment to patient care and academic teaching.

• The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is expanding its Women’s Health services across the Health System.
• Mather Hospital is an accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital.
• South Shore University Hospital is a 305-bed hospital with plans to potentially expand to over 400 beds.
• South Shore University Hospital has 2,500 deliveries per year.
• Northwell Health’s Women and Infant’s Center at South Shore University Hospital will contain 29 private rooms and a 16-bay neonatal intensive care unit.
• South Shore University Hospital is an academic teaching center for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, providing residencies and fellowships in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
