Minerals Mill WorkerLocation: Battle Mountain NV 89820Duration: 03+ MonthsPay rate: $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr on W2 without benefitsSummary:POSITION: HEAVY EQUIPMENT/CRUSHER OPERATORQUALIFICATIONS:On the assigned mobile equipment the incumbent will have displayed a good proficiency on all maneuvers and operator maintenance duties. He/she will have experience and a clear understanding of the crusher - conveyor feed system, with knowledge of start-up sequences and operating parameters.RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for providing properly blended feed for the mills, to insure that the finished product meets specifications, by diligently excavating and delivering feed material from the designated sources, in the ratios determined by the Mill Shift Boss, from the feed stockpiles. The H.E.

Operator will also start and operate the mill's crude ore feeding, crushing and conveying systems. He/she is responsible for performing pre-operation equipment checks and for operating mobile equipment, in a safe, and cost effective manner, maintaining awareness of proper conditions of wear parts, lubrication and fuel. The Heavy Equipment Operator has maintenance duties in monitoring the over-all mechanical condition of each piece of equipment that he/she is required to operate, performing pre-operation checks, noting items requiring repair on the Equipment Checklist Form, and reporting urgent items immediately to the Mill Shift Boss.

The incumbent will monitor oil, coolant, and fuel levels and fill reservoirs to the appropriate operation levels on mobile equipment. Heavy Equipment Operators will also monitor the stacking equipment as they are being used, reporting potential problems immediately to their respective supervisors.PHASE-IN REQUIREMENTS:The Heavy Equipment Operator will have become familiar with the Ore Truck delivery routines, and will be trained to understand which piles are used for storing varying types of ore, for both stacking - storage purposes as well as for plant feeding. He/she will also have received training on mobile equipment operator maintenance and crusher-conveyor start-up and maintenance.HSE REQUIREMENTS:Be responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements and the Company's procedures and guidelines in the performance of their duties.Perform their job safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.Continually inspect their work areas for unsafe or substandard conditions or unsafe work practices.Correct or take interim action on any unsafe or substandard conditions or practices that they observe and report to the immediate supervisor.Participate, as required, in all training classes and exercises.Participate, as required, in all HSE performance development activities and systems.Report all injury, near-miss, property damage and hazardous conditions to their immediate supervisor.MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS:Continuing ISO/API training; Continuing safety and job hazard training.
