Heitkamp Construction Inc is seeking a talented Maintenance Manager to join our team as a Millwright Superintendent in Wahpeton, ND. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment on our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Millwrights in performing installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
- Manage the crew and daily tasks
- Correspond with the customer to get tasks done in a timely manner
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule maintenance and repairs
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age - No Exceptions
- Driver's license or transportation to/from work
- Previous experience in a leadership role is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Self‑motivated and self‑starting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
