Millwright LeadThe Millwright Lead will manage large-scale crews that execute critical work related to new construction and maintenance. They will facilitate team development and the growth of employee commitment and ownership while holding employees accountable. Additionally, the Millwright Lead will be responsible for providing safety training, coaching, team development, and performance management to the team.
They will also be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime.Duties and responsibilities:Manage large-scale crews that execute critical work related to new construction and maintenance.Facilitate team development and growth of employee commitment and ownership while holding employees accountableProvide safety training to new crew members, coaching, team development, and performance management.Adhere to all facility safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.Actively participate in safety programsHelp meet or exceed production, waste, and quality.Communicate with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.Flexible work schedule, on-call, weekends, overtime, and holidaysWorking in high and/or confined spacesPerforming tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours per day in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environmentData entry and completing/generating reports.Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime.Essential qualifications:US work authorization5-10 years of Millwright Experience or Supervision experienceLed project & turnaround workHigh school diploma or GEDAble to obtain a TWICExperience installing, troubleshooting, & repairing industrial equipmentFamiliar with precision measuring instrumentsBasic knowledge of using computers for record-keepingWorking conditions:The Millwright Lead may work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment. They may be required to work in high and/or confined spaces. They may need to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours per day.
