Our North Creek team supports a long-standing Adirondack operation built on safety, reliability, teamwork, and pride in doing the job right.We invest in our employees through comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; an HSA with employer contributions; a 401(k) plan with pre-tax and Roth options; company-paid life insurance; 13 PTO days; and 9 paid holidays.This role is a strong fit for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys fast-paced, hands-on industrial work, communicates well with others, values safe work practices, and takes pride in keeping equipment and operations running reliably.What You Will DoPerform advanced mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation of industrial equipment.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to safely install, align, and secure machinery.Troubleshoot equipment issues and support reliable production through preventative and corrective maintenance.Use welding, fabrication, rigging, and mechanical skills to complete repairs and equipment improvements.Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and work cooperatively with operations and maintenance team members.This position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime required as necessary.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on industrial maintenance skills.Clean driver's license.Five years of industrial machine maintenance, repair, and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or production setting.Two years of professional welding experience.Vocational or technical training in a skilled trades field.New York State Plant Maintenance Mechanic Certification.An Equal Opportunity EmployerBarton Mines Company Promotes a Drug Free Workplace
