Milling OperatorSuperior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring a 3rd shift Milling Operator for our operation in Lima, Ohio. The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications.Competitive starting wage is $22.20 per hour, benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, Vacation, Paid Relief Days, $ 1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.Responsibilities:Set up and operate mills and controllerMilling rolls to customer blueprint specificationInspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprintReporting all deviations from customer blueprint specificationsPerform other department duties, as assignedPhysical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbsExposed to seasonal temperature changesManufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibrationQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious milling experience requiredPrevious experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery requiredStrong math skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret blueprintsBasic problem solving and troubleshooting skillsPrevious CNC machining experience preferredMust be able to work any shiftMust be able to pass criminal background check and drug screenClassification: HourlyBenefits:Eligible upon hire: Company paid/reimbursed safety shoes and prescription safety glasses.Eligible after 30 days; medical/prescription drug coverage, dental, vision insurances, company provided Basic Life and AD&D insurance, additional voluntary benefits including hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness insurance, paid holidays.Eligible at 60 days (520 working hours): Participation in the production incentive pay program (potential to add $1-$2 per hour to base pay, based on production)Eligible after 90 days; paid relief days, PTO, employee referral programEligible after 6 months; 401K programSuperior Forge & Steel Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
