Job Title: Mill Operator
Job Description
The Mill Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment to handle raw materials used in production processes. This role involves ensuring accurate material usage, maintaining quality standards, and following all safety and housekeeping requirements to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate bag-slicing equipment and associated material-handling equipment.
* Verify materials and quantities against production schedules.
* Inspect materials for damage, contamination, or quality concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
* Dispose of empty bags and waste materials properly.
* Report equipment issues and safety concerns.
* Complete production documentation.
* Follow all safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
* Assist with other production duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
* Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
* Experience in documentation on quality forms.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
