We currently have an opportunity for a Mill Operator at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.Responsibilities:Operate milling equipment at optimum levels to ensure designated quality and extraction levelsMonitor regrind system and work with packaging personnel to keep the system running efficientlyMaintain Master Sanitation Schedule and HACCP documentationPerform duties and responsibilities of the Grain Receiver/Loader position on an as-needed basisProactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunitiesQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionMust successfully complete IAOM correspondence course in Milling Science within one year of beginning role as Mill OperatorPreferred Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication, and computer skills2+ years in manufacturing environment with wheat milling experienceMechanical ability to operate and maintain milling equipmentPhysical Requirements:Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periodsWork in dusty, high heat/humidity environments and confined spacesWilling to wear a respirator as neededMake fine distinctions by soundCommunicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visuallySchedule: Rotating DaysShift: Rotating, 6am-6pm & 6am-6pmStarting Pay: $20/hr
