This is a great opportunity to learn specialized equipment and processes, build valuable manufacturing skills, and grow into a long-term career.Mill Operator / Batch Weigher Responsibilities:Operating industrial mills, mixers, pumps, and other production equipmentWeighing and measuring raw materials according to formulas and batch instructionsMixing batches and following the proper order of ingredientsMonitoring equipment and adjusting machine settingsCollecting product samples and working with Quality ControlMaking product adjustments as directedPackaging finished ink into various containersLabeling, canning, repacking, and preparing finished productsOperating pump/filter and press-out equipmentMoving materials using a forkliftRecording production and processing informationPerforming basic troubleshooting and scheduled equipment maintenanceCleaning and maintaining production equipment and work areasFollowing established safety procedures and required SOPsRequirements for Mill Operator / Batch Weigher:At least three months of related manufacturing or production experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED preferredBasic math and computer skillsAbility to follow formulas, written instructions, and safety proceduresStrong attention to detailDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as neededWillingness to work overtime when requiredForklift experience is a plus, but training may be availableIND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
