MIG/ARC Welder

Job Description Job Description MIG / ARC Welder: Rockford, Illinois Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting MIG / ARC Welders to work full-time on 1st shift. As a MIG / ARC Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding duties while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities of the MIG / ARC Welder:

• Perform welding tasks using MIG and ARC welding processes.
• Read and follow work instructions and job orders.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Clean and prepare materials before and after welding
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
• Operate fabrication tools including saws, shears, brakes, grinders, torch, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Assist with moving materials using forklifts or overhead cranes as needed.

MIG / ARC Welder Requirements and Qualifications:

• Prior welding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding processes such as MIG and ARC required.
• Ability to operate fabrication tools and equipment.
• Experience with heavy machinery such as forklifts or overhead cranes preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay for MIG / ARC Welder: $20.00-$25.00/hour. MIG / ARC Welder Benefits:

Type: 1st Shift, Full-time. Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime may include 10-hour shifts (6:00am - 4:30pm) and occasional Saturdays. Apply now!
