To support innovative education, the part-time Middle School Workshop Facilitator will prepare and facilitate engaging virtual learning experiences for 6th-8th grade students, focusing on collaborative problem-solving and communication skills through interactive activities. Key responsibilities Prepare and facilitate live workshops via Zoom, utilizing detailed lesson plans and materials for cohorts of approximately 24 learners Participate in weekly meetings and monthly check-ins to address concerns and collaborate with the coaching lead Track attendance and participation, providing feedback and recognition to learners at the end of each cycle Required qualifications Experience with virtual facilitation or teaching is preferred but not required Strong engagement skills to make learning exciting and enjoyable for students Proficiency with technology and a belief in its role in enhancing education Passion for alternative education models and innovative teaching methods Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
