Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned to state standards
- Use data to drive instruction and student growth
- Create a positive, structured classroom culture
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Collaborate with grade-level and instructional teams
- Communicate regularly with families
- Support school-wide initiatives and student success programs
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid North Carolina Teaching License (or eligibility for licensure)
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience (preferred/required, based on your hiring standard)
- Experienced in middle school grades preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills
- Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and culturally responsive teaching practices
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive instructional decisions
- Strong collaboration, communication, and team engagement skills
