Job Description
Silver Lake Regional Middle School is in search of an assistant coach to help with the training and management of the middle school cross‑country program.
Qualifications:
- Experience coaching cross country; experience working with middle school students
- Previous middle school coaching experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Teach the skills and strategies of cross-country to student‑athletes in grade 7-8.
- Be a role‑model and teacher of cross‑country, including; practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
- Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
- Communicate regularly with families as needed.
The stipend for this role is $1,030.
