Middle Office Software DeveloperRowayton, CT 06853Job DescriptionFairfield County Hedge Fund is seeking a mid-to-senior level Software Developer to design, build, and support Windows and web-based applications related to middle and back-office processing, real-time pricing, and valuation.

Responsibilities include:Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Windows- and web-based applications supporting middle and back-office processes, real-time pricing, and valuationAnalyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improved robustness, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainabilityConduct unit, integration, and product testing to support high-quality releases across the software development life cycleCollaborate with developers, business users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver robust software solutions aligned with business needsEffectively manage time and priorities while contributing to multiple projects simultaneouslyRequirements include:5+ years of software development experience within the financial services or investment management industryExperience with a meaningful combination of the following technologies, concepts, and financial systems: C#, object-oriented programming, concurrency, Agile development practices, and unit testingWindows Forms, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Web API, and related Windows and web application frameworksSQL Server, data modeling, query development, and application data integrationMessaging-oriented middleware (MOM), service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, and distributed systems conceptsCoding agents and AI-assisted development tools, used appropriately within secure and quality-controlled development practicesPortfolio management systems, including security master, trades, allocations, positions, and P&L workflowsValuation workflows, real-time market data APIs, and financial modeling conceptsOpening Doors to Incredible Opportunities: For over two decades, Capstone has been working with elite organizations from Fortune 500s to start-ups in some of the most competitive market sectors.
