Middle Office Operations AnalystFlow Traders is looking for a Middle Office Operations Analyst to join our growing Operations team in New York. We value quick-witted, creative minds and challenge them to make full use of their capabilities.The Operations team at Flow Traders provides support during the life cycle of a trade, creates reconciliations, and develops reporting. It is also the responsibility of the team to identify, assess, respond, and monitor various risks to the firm. The Firm has an expanding set of products covering all major asset classes.

The team continuously seeks opportunities to automate its workflows and processes, develop new ways to monitor and track data, and communicate key performance indicators of the department.What You Will DoTrade matching, booking, and settlement reconciliationManage counterparty onboarding and operational relationshipsMonitor pending OTC settlementsPerform real-time and T+1 reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete record keeping and trading positionsPrepare complete and accurate trade and transaction reportingPrepare and report market making obligations statisticsPosition/PnL/Cost reconciliationMaintain ownership of critical data and perform checks to confirm data is complete and accurateDevelop new operational toolsDraft data requirements for current and new business initiativesLiaise with Trading, Business Development, IT, and Compliance to solve problems and create solutionsCollaborate on projects aimed at advancing interdepartmental coordination and global business initiativesWhat You Need To SucceedAt least 2 years of experience in Financial OperationsExperience in Digital Assets, a plusUndergraduate degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or related fieldWorking/Advanced knowledge of Python and SQLExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExceptional attention to detail with a focus on identifying and resolving root causesAbility to work independently and responsibly within company policies and guidelinesDemonstrated ability to develop or build scalable process improvementsProven analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations quickly under pressureStrong interest in financial markets and tradingSelf-starter with a proactive and adaptable mindsetSIE, requiredSeries 7, preferredAt Flow Traders, we acknowledge the importance of open and transparent communication whether it be with our employees, our stakeholders, or our local and global communities. Where candidates will fall within the range depends on a few different factors including but not limited to level of experience, location, and specific skill set.

We also consider ourselves one global team, and to demonstrate that, all employees are eligible to share in the company's success through an annual discretionary variable remuneration allocated based on company, group and individual performance and contribution.Per NYC salary transparency law, the total compensation for this role includes a base range of $85,000 to $130,000 plus annual discretionary variable remuneration.Flow Traders does not accept unsolicited resumes from any professional staffing or search firms.
