Job Title: Middle Eastern Language Instructor

Job Type: Part-time; 5 hours/week (potential for more based on student demand)

Location: Downtown Boston

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to expand our language offerings and are looking to hire an Arabic and Farsi/Persian teacher for small group or private classes of all levels for adults. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who is comfortable working on a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Arabic or Farsi Language and Literature, or a related field

Be fluent in Modern Standard Arabic and/or Farsi, and speak one or both at native level

Have at least 5 years’ experience teaching Arabic and/or Farsi to adults in both group and 1:1 classes

Be able to work independently to design language curricula

Have demonstrated ability to effectively engage students of all levels

Have experience in multicultural settings and working with a diverse team

Preferred qualifications include:

A Master’s degree or higher in related field

Ability/interest in teaching any additional languages
