Temple Beth Shalom | 2025– ) School Year
Temple Beth Shalom’s Religious School is a joyful, innovative, and forward-
thinking learning environment. We are seeking passionate and dedicated
educators who are excited to share their love of Judaism, build meaningful
connections with students, and be part of a supportive teaching community.
We are currently hiring for the –2026) school year.
Class Times & Expectations
Mid-week Hebrew classes take place:
• Sundays, 1:40–2:40 p.m.
• Wednesdays, 4:30–6:15 p.m.
Teachers are expected to arrive or log on 30 minutes prior to class and stay
15 minutes after for prep and follow-up. Depending on the class assignment,
some positions may be remote.

• Strong Hebrew decoding skills, fluency in prayer recitation, and an
ability to discuss prayer meaning
• A student-centered, compassionate approach to teaching and learning
• Willingness to employ creative, inclusive teaching methods to reach
diverse learners
• Receptiveness to feedback and support to continually grow as an
educator
• A desire to build a safe, engaging, and inquiry-driven classroom
• An eagerness for your own ongoing learning and growth
