Node DeveloperKey Responsibilities:Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software systemsDevelop high-performance APIs and microservices using Node.js (primary language) and Python/Java (secondary languages)Own the full lifecycle of critical APIs, from initial design to ongoing monitoring and optimizationEnsure API performance meets or exceeds defined SLAs, proactively addressing any issuesOptimize infrastructure and deployment processes on AWS cloud platform to maximize uptime and responsivenessCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutionsReview code, provide mentorship, and participate in architectural discussionsContinuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and processesContribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmapRequired Qualifications:5+ years of professional software engineering experienceProven expertise in building large-scale, highly available, and performant systemsProficient in Node.js, with experience in building production-ready APIs and microservicesStrong working knowledge of Python and/or JavaExtensive experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecturesHands-on experience with modern software development tools and practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks)Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with message queuing systems and event-driven architecturesKnowledge of distributed systems, caching, and data modelingExposure to front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular)Passion for mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledgeTrack record of delivering high-performing, highly available APIsRequired Skills: • 5+ years of overall development experience • Strong NodeJS and Python experience • AWS • Familiarity with Kubernetes or DevOps for releasing code as the team does their own DevOpsBasic Qualification:Additional Skills:Background Check: YesDrug Screen: No
