Mid-Level Plumbing DesignerPlumbing Design · Revit · AutoCAD · Industrial & Pharmaceutical Facilities Primarily remote with approximately 2 days/week in the Cincinnati, OH office. Occasional project site visits required. We're looking for a Mid-Level Plumbing Designer in Cincinnati to independently perform plumbing design assignments for advanced industrial facility projects.
You'll create plumbing designs for construction, coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and project management, and occasionally visit project sites to gather existing conditions. If you're passionate about buildings and construction and ready to work on some of the world's most state-of-the-art facilities, this role is for you.What you'll do:Independently perform plumbing design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problemsCreate plumbing designs for construction — waste and vent, domestic hot/cold water, and storm water systemsCoordinate work activities with design, engineering, and project management professionalsPerform clash detection and resolution within building system coordination workflowsVisit project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and support construction activitiesCollaborate with clients, construction teams, and multi-disciplinary design teamsWhat you need:10 years of plumbing design experience — or 5 years with an Associate's degree in a related technical disciplinePractical experience with waste/vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water building systemsProficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCADGeneral working knowledge of plumbing codesUnderstanding of clash detection, clash resolution, and building system coordinationMust be local to or able to commute to Cincinnati, OH for a hybrid scheduleNice to have:Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similarStrong verbal and written communication skillsForward-thinking mindset with a drive to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas
