Network EngineerLooking for an all-round type network engineer. Well versed in switching and routing. Arista experience is a plus. F5 experience is a plus.
DMZ experience is a plus. Team player; willing to collaborate with other team members. Leadership and mentorship skills. Occasionally in the office (could be 2-3 times a week; could also be a few weeks without having to go into the office).
No off hours support needed unless there is an emergency; they have a team who handles these types of matters. Working with stakeholders in all areas of the world. Could have to work evening hours depending on the regional work given.Provides medium to high complexity network support activities including off-shift support.Completes Network Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyzes process for improvement. Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations.Participates in the network technology design process.Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production.Works as a member of a project team on business projects.Performs other duties as assigned.Requires in-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices.
Knowledge of a network technology discipline (e.g. IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, IT Tools and other relevant technologies.
