Job Description

Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered. Summary: Develop robust software capabilities utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful web services in a Linux environment. Leverage cutting-edge agentic AI tools to streamline feature implementations, codebase refactoring, and automated test generation. Collaborate in an Agile lifecycle leveraging modern cloud, database, and CI/CD tools including AWS, Azure, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Git, and Maven.

Qualifications & Compensation: At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly Active Top Secret security clearance Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start date

Job Description: Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications, microservices, and enterprise REST APIs. Incorporate next-generation AI coding agents and autonomous workflows into daily software engineering routines. Conduct multi-file feature development, complex refactoring, and automated unit/integration testing. Work extensively within Linux command-line environments and integrate configuration management workflows using Git, Maven, and Nexus. Interface with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and NoSQL/search databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and track project delivery using JIRA and Confluence. Telework: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence 3-4 days per week in Fort Meade, MD with partial telework flexibility.
