Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level funds associate to join its private equity fund formation and investment practice group in New York City, NY. The group advises fund sponsors and institutional investors on structuring, negotiating, and investing in private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure funds, as well as co-investment transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise on private equity fund formations and investments.
- Collaborate with practice specialists in a large firm environment.
- Service clients across a wide range of industries.
- Manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in private equity fund formations or investments.
- Experience at a major U.S. or international law firm preferred.
- Member in good standing with, or willingness to be admitted to, the New York Bar.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to obtain.
