Overview

The Seattle office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a mid-level associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Employment Litigation team.

Responsibilities

  • Defend employers in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Advise clients on workplace policies and day-to-day employment issues.
  • Draft discovery, pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements.
  • Deliver clear, persuasive written advocacy and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to team collaboration and continued growth.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Washington State Bar.
  • 2–5 years of experience defending employers in employment litigation.
  • Strong litigation, writing, analytical skills and proactive solutions-oriented approach.

Salary

Pursuant to Washington regulation, the annual salary range for this position is $160,000 – $195,000 and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, seniority, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
