This is a full-time role for a Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer. NOREAS, Inc. has immediate openings for a mid-level position ranging from 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry. The full-time position will be based at our San Diego, California office, and will require some travel.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university. 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry.
Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat (or similar). Experience with GIS and/or CAD is a plus.
Works under the direction of a project manager or serves as a task/project manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system design/implementation/operation and maintenance, and other environmental/construction projects.
Capable of supervision of complex field projects.
Travel and field work, approximately 25-50%, which may be throughout the U.Ability and willingness to work outdoors and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Commitment to supporting a safe work environment.
Strong writing and analytical skills for preparation of work plans and reports (investigation, remediation design, feasibility studies, etc.).
