Job description:

What you will be doing:

• Assist in handling all phases of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Manage discovery, including document review and production.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation management.

Experience you will need:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the California Bar, or eligibility for admission.
• 2–6 years of civil litigation experience. Candidates with 1 year of litigation experience will also be considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in professional liability, securities, or employment litigation.
• Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
