Mid Data Scientist (TS/SCI Clearance)

EpochGeo is seeking a Mid Data Scientist to support national security data-rich projects in Quantico, VA (onsite) . In this full-time role, you will turn complex data into actionable intelligence and automated workflows using machine learning, statistical and predictive analytics, data visualization, and AI tool development. TS/SCI clearance (and holding or being willing to submit for a CI Poly) is required.

What you’ll do

• Perform data analytics, data engineering, and data mining to uncover insights that inform decisions.
• Build machine learning tools, including recommendation engines and lead scoring systems .
• Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to develop high-quality prediction systems .
• Create narrative data products by visualizing results with Tableau and other graphical applications.
• Manage, merge, and analyze large, disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL .
• Develop AI tools to automate key processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R .
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong experience across machine learning , statistical analysis , and predictive analytics .
• Proven ability to manage large data sets and perform Multi-INT analytics .
• Documented success with AI tool development and automation .
• Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and hold or be willing to submit for a CI Poly .

Location and role details

Work location: In person in Quantico, VA 22134 .

Ability to commute: Required.

Relocation: Relocate before starting work is required.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
