Job Title: Mid-Data Governance Systems Administrator

Role Overview:
You will support data governance initiatives by managing governance tools and developing training on their use. Your focus will be on monitoring tool adoption, maintaining tool performance, and driving continuous improvement. You will lead user support and collaborate with analysts to align tools with business needs. Promoting data privacy and compliance is essential. You will also educate teams on best practices, ensure proper roles and security, and assist with key use cases like lineage, data quality, impact analysis, and sensitivity scanning. Your role involves training analysts, ensuring efficient tool utilization, and translating vision into actionable daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Support data governance tools, including configuration, updates, security, and roles
- Develop and deliver training on tool usage, configuration, and best practices
- Monitor and report on tool adoption metrics and ROI
- Lead efforts to assist users with crawling, profiling, lineage, data quality rules, impact analysis, and scans
- Partner with Data Governance Analysts to meet business needs and use cases
- Promote data privacy, protection, and compliance through effective tool use
- Ensure tools are properly maintained, configured, and utilized efficiently
- Educate the Data Governance Department on the tool roadmap and best practices
- Manage roles and security within the tools
- Assist analysts with access and use of governance tools
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years in Data Governance System Administration
- 2 years in data management, including data governance, BI, and data warehousing
- Experience with Collibra (Data Governance, Metadata management, Business impact Analysis)
- Linux application administration
- Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, or Oracle Exadata
- Highly technical with emphasis on software development and application integration (APIs and Middleware)
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly
