Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose and provide nonsurgical and surgical care to patients of all ages
- Repair, reconstruct, or replace physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, cranio-maxillofacial structures, hand, extremities, breast and trunk, and external genitalia
- Teach medical students, surgery residents, and occasionally IM & FM residents

Requirements
- BE/BC Fellowship trained Microvascular Plastic Surgeon
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Plastic Surgical residency program (independent or integrated models) accredited by ACGME, AOA, or Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Current subspecialty certification in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery OR successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in a surgical specialty followed by successful completion of an accredited plastic surgery residency and active participation in the examination process with achievement of certification within 5 years of completion of formal training leading to subspecialty certification in plastic surgery by the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery
- Experience in microsurgical breast reconstruction is preferred
