Swoon is actively seeking a Microsoft Systems Application Administrator to join the team!

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Translate written business requirements into modern software solutions, delivering high-quality, scalable applications using a mix of Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online (low-code) and custom web development (pro-code).
  • Leverage modern AI capabilities, including generative AI and prompt engineering with large language models (LLMs), to improve development productivity, automate workflows, and enable intelligent user experiences.
  • Plan, configure, and deploy application enhancements, including system configurations, maintenance activities, and refresh cycles across production and non-production environments.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise application support, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents while minimizing downtime and operational impact.
  • Monitor system stability, availability, and performance, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, and executing tuning/optimization activities as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, supporting implementation efforts, communicating progress, and producing clear technical documentation for ongoing support and continuous improvement.

What’s required?

  • 2+ years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in an enterprise environment.
  • Windows Server systems administration experience, including configuration, maintenance, and operational support.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Azure PaaS services, ensuring performance, reliability, and secure operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of experience working in IT or operations, supporting business-critical systems and technology platforms.
  • Ability to support day-to-day system stability through monitoring, issue triage, and timely escalation when needed.
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to work across infrastructure and application support needs in a production environment.

  • REMOTE role – Must Currently reside in one of these states AND be able to provide proof that you currently live in one of these states

  • Hourly Rate - $24 - $26 an hour
