A security background check is required.What You Will Get to Do:Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core infrastructure servicesAdminister and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for business operationsEnsure the environment achieves and remains in compliance with CMMC Level 2 requirements, including implementing, documenting, and maintaining the associated NIST SP 800-171 security controls Support audit readiness activities, including evidence collection, control validation, and remediation of identified gaps to sustain CMMC Level 2 complianceManage user accounts, security groups, permissions, and access controls following the principle of least privilegePerform regular system monitoring, patching, backups, and disaster recovery activities to maintain system health and availabilityProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated incidents, troubleshooting complex issues across servers, endpoints, and Microsoft servicesCollaborate with security, network, and engineering teams to ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational standardsRequired Skills:Hands-on experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) in production environmentsStrong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows networking fundamentalsExperience managing Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, including identity, licensing, and conditional access policiesProficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation of administrative tasksExperience with patch management, endpoint protection, and system hardening practicesUnderstanding of backup, recovery, and business continuity solutionsWorking knowledge of CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 security controls and how they apply to a Microsoft environmentStrong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge-sharingAbility to document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions clearly and thoroughlyRequired Years of Experience:Three (3) or more years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredNice to Have:Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or universityMicrosoft certifications such as: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) - Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) - Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC- 900) - Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)Prior experience supporting environments undergoing CMMC, FedRAMP, or DFARS assessments
