Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

To support a growing development team, the full-time Microsoft SQL Database Administrator will manage the administration, performance, security, and recoverability of Microsoft SQL Server database environments while working remotely from select states. Key responsibilities Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database environments across development, test, and production systems Perform SQL performance tuning and implement backup and recovery strategies that meet established recovery objectives Collaborate with application developers to review database designs and support database deployments through CI/CD and DevOps processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field preferred 2-4 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration, architecture, and performance tuning Experience using PowerShell and/or T-SQL to automate database administration tasks
