The client is looking for a Technical Lead with deep Snowflake administration expertise and experience working with RBAC (role-based access control) architecture.Day To Day Responsibilities:Technical Architecture Leadership: Design and validate all Snowflake RBAC implementations against platform constraintsPerformance Impact Analysis: Ability to assess role hierarchy complexity impact on query performance and system scalabilityClient Education & Mentoring: Teach HD Supply team Snowflake fundamentals, best practices, and platform limitationsImplementation Oversight: Review and approve all database role designs, inheritance patterns, and security configurationsStakeholder Communication: Interface with HD Supply technical team to explain platform realities and architectural decisionsMust Have Requirements:Deep Snowflake Expertise: 5+ years hands-on Snowflake administration including role hierarchies, managed schemas, and SECURITY ADMIN/SYS ADMIN modelsEnterprise RBAC Architecture: Proven experience designing role consolidation for 100+ role environments while maintaining security governance
