Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, the full-time Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer will work remotely to build data models and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence initiatives. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures Build and optimize Fabric Notebooks using PySpark, Spark SQL, and/or Python for large-scale data transformation Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and ensure compliance with data governance policies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, specifically with Microsoft Fabric Hands-on experience writing PySpark/Spark SQL in a notebook environment for data transformation Strong programming skills in SQL and at least one additional language such as Python or Scala Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and best practices for data governance and security
