Microsoft BI DeveloperLocation: Westchester, IL 6 months Contract Salary: DOE $/hr. on w2 only US Citizen and Green Card EAD only No Third partyResponsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To The Following):Participate in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end Business Intelligence Solutions with Azure and the Microsoft BI StackDesign and deployment of enterprise data warehouse solutions and dimensional modelsDevelop and implement Reporting and Analytics using Synapse and PowerBIDesign and build ETL processes in On-Prem/Cloud BI solutions and ability to enhance SSIS packages, SSRS Reports, OLAP cubes (SSAS)Design and develop database schema, Stored Procedures, Views and work on optimizing database performance of queries and ETL processesProvide end-user support by utilizing interpersonal skills to communicate with and instruct end-users on MS BI products and technologiesTroubleshoot escalated BI issues including data, ETL and SSRS issuesAssist with development and implementation of a data analytics solutionWork with database team to optimize database performance of queries and ETL processes.Requirements4+ years' experience in data warehousing, modeling, end-to-end BI solutionsStrong understanding of BI Technology Stack (Microsoft Azure), Data Engineering Solutions, Data modeling, and Software Engineering principles and best practicesExperience with Microsoft ETL tools (Azure Data Factory and SSIS), the SQL Server platform, and the Microsoft BI Stack (Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Power BI)Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques and approachesExperience designing, developing and supporting Power BI data sources and reportsExperience with SSRS and Power BI Report BuilderProficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Excel, Word, Visio)Able to work as a team member and willing to work independently when requiredStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsExperience working in an Agile/SCRUM SDLC environmentExperience with TFS Team tools and Database ProjectsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or proven hands-on experience
