Microbiology Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician in Rhode Island

Job Overview

We are hiring a Microbiology Med Tech in Rhode Island! The Microbiology MT/MLT will perform a wide range of waived, moderate, and high-complexity tests with accuracy and confidence; evaluate specimens and apply established criteria to ensure quality results; run quality assurance and control procedures to keep our lab at the highest standards (federal, state, and CAP compliance included); maintain and calibrate lab equipment so performance is always optimal; and more.

Location & Schedule

Location: Near Providence, RI.Type: Full‑time and permanent.Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00PM–11:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of waived, moderate, and high‑complexity tests.
• Evaluate specimens and apply established criteria to ensure quality results.
• Run quality assurance and control procedures to keep our lab at the highest standards (federal, state, and CAP compliance).
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• College degree in microbiology or related field.
• ASCP certification.
• Prior experience in microbiology.
