Managing a caseload of Michigan No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims, the full-time Michigan Licensed Claim Representative will investigate and administer both litigated and non-litigated claims while collaborating with various stakeholders in a fully remote setting. Key responsibilities Determines compensability and causal relationships for claims through thorough investigations Establishes reserves and manages medical bills related to claims while ensuring compliance with state legislation Negotiates settlements and closes files in accordance with performance standards and legal requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in MACP claim handling Three years of experience in handling MCAP claims, with preferred experience in multiple jurisdictions Knowledge of Michigan Assigned Claims Plan and Michigan Automobile No Fault regulations Proficiency in using computers and company standard software specific to the position Certification or progress toward certification in claims handling is highly preferred
