The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is seeking new faculty members to join its consult-based practice, focusing on comprehensive services for high-risk pregnancies. This role involves developing an integrated, multidisciplinary, and value-based approach to obstetric care, with opportunities for leadership and active participation in research and education. The division, which provides prenatal diagnostic procedures for regional healthcare networks, is expanding its team and facilities to accommodate a growing patient population.
Practice Info
- Consult-based practice providing comprehensive services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies
- Deliveries are managed by the generalist team with 24-hour labor and delivery coverage
- Ultrasound unit features five E10 machines with Viewpoint software fully integrated into Epic EMR
- Department is staffed by experienced certified sonographers
- Division includes two dedicated genetic counselors and an integrated fetal center
- Currently, two MFM physicians lead the team, with plans to recruit a third and fourth
Responsibilities
- Help develop an integrated, multidisciplinary, and value-based approach to high-risk obstetric care
- Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
- Play an active role in educating medical students and residents
- Assume divisional, departmental, and institutional leadership positions (optional)
- Utilize da Vinci robotics (encouraged)
