Responsibilities
- Direct daily measurement workflows, optimizing team output and ensuring rigorous adherence to quality protocols.
- Manage complex CMM inspection cycles to provide actionable data and high-precision reporting.
- Standardize GD&T application across all inspection processes to minimize variation and improve product consistency.
- Champion ISO9001 compliance by maintaining documentation and preparing the team for internal and external quality audits.
- Develop staff technical proficiency through targeted mentorship and hands-on training in advanced metrology techniques.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering and production groups to troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the lifecycle of metrology instrumentation, including scheduling calibrations and managing preventative maintenance.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in metrology and the practical application of GD&T principles.
- Significant experience operating and programming CMM inspection equipment.
- Solid understanding of ISO9001 quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team motivation and performance management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical measurement challenges.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with advanced measurement software and automated inspection systems.
