Metro Strategies: Field OrganizerA NYC Congressional campaign is seeking a full-time Field Organizer to help build grassroots power. This role will recruit and train volunteers, drive voter contact programs, and engage working-class and immigrant communities in a people-powered campaign fighting for dignity, justice, and representation.Overview and Key Responsibilities:Field Organizers will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the campaign's voter contact strategy, including:Recruiting and managing volunteers and building relationships with neighborhood community membersBuild & lead door to canvassing, phone banking, high traffic canvassing, and relational organizing eventsParticipating in voter contact (Canvassing & Phone Banking)Staff and attend community eventsMaintain proper data hygieneQualifications:0-2 years of campaign experience or community organizing as a staff member, fellow, or volunteer (Preferred)Ties to NYC (Preferred)Ability to speak Spanish (Preferred)Access to a reliable phone & computerAbility to work with diverse groups of people & strong interpersonal skillsAbility to stay organized, multitask, and thrive in a fast paced environmentCampaign hours are often atypical. All applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
