Metrics Project Engineer (Level IV)Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Metrics Project Engineer to join the Engineering Performance Technical Metrics team. As a Metrics Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing technical metrics to measure product maturity and program performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate independent product maturity assessments, collect and analyze program technical metrics, and provide data-driven insights to Executive Leadership. This position also manages independent review boards across Lockheed Martin Space.Key responsibilities include:Develop, maintain, and improve technical metrics to measure product maturity and technical performanceConduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsDesign and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate complex technical metrics to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate independent product maturity assessments and collect technical metricsAnalyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights; provide recommendations to Executive LeadershipDevelop and maintain data pipeline processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibilityCommunicate technical metrics and analytical results through clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboardsCollaborate with program and technical leadership to manage independent technical review boards and ensure program maturity and successRequired qualifications:9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with a master's degreeU.S. citizenship is required to access secured Lockheed Martin facilitiesAlthough the role is 50% or more telework, the selected candidate must reside within driving distance of one of the following Lockheed Martin locations to work on-site 1–2 days per week:King of Prussia, PASunnyvale, CALittleton, COHighlands Ranch, CODesired skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlinesDemonstrated experience in producing clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards for executive audiencesDeep knowledge of Lockheed Martin engineering data, including sources, structures, and systemsExperience with Lockheed Martin engineering processes, including engineering product and drawing releaseExperience with EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management)Experience as a CAM (Control Account Manager)Experience in data pipeline management, including data warehousing and data governanceProficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as TableauExperience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and executive leadershipLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationOther important information:By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,100 - $208,150.
