Leadership Responsibilities:Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the departmentMake recommendations for operational and/or technical improvementsCommunicate effectively within the groupCoach and develop direct reportsPlan and monitor workflowsMonitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry systemSupport and promote company policies and proceduresThe site is not accessible by public transportation routes/options.QualificationsBS in Chemistry or similar field with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a laboratory environmentExperience working with proteins or carbohydratesExperience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environmentExperience working with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instrumentsStrong pipetting skillsHPLC and Empower 3 ExperienceFamiliarity with USP, EU guidelinesPrevious leadership experience preferredEffective oral and written communicationAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekend work might be expected.
