Metals Machine Operator
Location: Arnold, MO 63010
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: To Be Determined
Pay: Based on Experience
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Metals Machine Operators to join an established manufacturing facility in Arnold, Missouri. This position involves operating metal stamping presses and related production equipment to manufacture precision metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably operating metal stamping presses or other industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate metal stamping presses and related manufacturing equipment.
* Load metal coils or raw materials into automatic feeding systems or manually feed materials into presses.
* Monitor equipment during production to ensure proper operation.
* Inspect finished metal components for defects and dimensional accuracy.
* Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
* Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material jams, and quality concerns.
* Remove finished parts and properly organize materials for additional processing.
* Complete production documentation and record accurate production counts.
* Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
* Follow established safety procedures and quality control requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Work with supervisors and setup technicians to resolve production issues.
Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
* Metal stamping press experience highly preferred.
* Ability to operate industrial production machinery safely.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to use measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
* Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
* Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift.
* Ability to lift and move manufacturing materials as required.
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
* Ability to work safely around industrial machinery.
