Job OverviewRequirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Responsibilities:Read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).Operate hand grinding tools (both belt and stone).Operate metal cleaning equipment, water flow and sonic equipment.Adjust parts by use of presses, heat or other dimensional tooling.Operate hand sandblast and auto blast units.Maintain expected quality levels.Function as a member of a team and work under general supervision.Work and function in a fast-paced environment.Perform metal cleaning, finishing, and dimensional inspection.Skills:Basic knowledge of computers.Ability to read parts to the .0001.Understanding of gauging and templates.Finishing skills (stones, burrs, belts, etc.).Ability to work independently as well as with a team.Ability to read and follow written and verbal instruction.Education and Experience:No previous experience required.Ability to lift approximately 30% of the time, with assistance for weights exceeding 35 pounds.Good manual dexterity.Ability to work more than eight hours daily and more than five days weekly to complete work assignments.Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
