Merchandising Business Analyst
Apex Systems has an immediate and exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst located at one of Columbus’ premier employers. This opportunity is for a 6 month, open ended contract with potential for full time conversion.
Group Details of Merchandising Business Analyst:
The business analyst will manage activities related to the business requirement analysis and needs assessment involving product information management and capabilities in the Merchandising space. This position will coordinate with multiple business units throughout the term of the project.
Responsibilities of Business Analyst:
- Duties include gathering and documenting detailed business requirements to support capability requests from multiple business stakeholders
- Work with internal partners to ensure functional and design efforts meet the needs of the business
- Serve as the bridge between business partners and technical teams to ensure the needs of the business are fully communicated and understood
- Evaluate any gaps between current and established expectations and actively work to correct or modify business expectations
Requirements for Business Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, or related field
- Any experience with Oracle MSCS, Jira, Sharepoint are all bonuses
- 2+ years’ experience in Agile/Scrum software development practices
- 2+ years’ experience developing requirements, facilitating discussions related to requirements definitions, issue resolution, and process improvement
- Experience with e-commerce, retail store systems and/or data integration
Required Skills: -Must have experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry supporting projects related to merchandising applications -Must have experience with Oracle RMS -Must live in Ohio or a surrounding state (Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western PA) -This is a contract to hire role, and the client does not provide any form of visa sponsorship. To qualify, candidates must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship now or in future Basic Qualification: -Must have experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry supporting projects related to merchandising applications -Must have experience with Oracle RMS -Must live in Ohio or a surrounding state (Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western PA) -This is a contract to hire role, and the client does not provide any form of visa sponsorship. To qualify, candidates must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship now or in future Additional Skills: -Must have experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry supporting projects related to merchandising applications -Must have experience with Oracle RMS -Must live in Ohio or a surrounding state (Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western PA) -This is a contract to hire role, and the client does not provide any form of visa sponsorship.
