Leading the Inventory Planning function, the remote Associate Director, Merchandise Planning will manage forecasting, open-to-buy, and inventory strategy across all categories, while driving the evolution of planning capabilities and tools within the organization. Key Responsibilities Own sales and inventory forecasts, ensuring accountability for accuracy and achievement of inventory plans and KPIs Set inventory strategy for fine jewelry assortments and lead inventory planning for new showroom launches and growth initiatives Create and drive the Inventory Planning roadmap, partnering with Technology on system implementation and managing project schedules Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, or quantitative analysis within retail or e-commerce Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus Expertise in demand planning software and reporting/BI tools, with experience in leading system implementations Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas and financial modeling, with a solid understanding of retail math Experience with AI-assisted tools for automating analysis and familiarity with evolving systems environments
