A Merchandise Associate works in a retail store to make sure products are stocked, organized, displayed properly, and available for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise.
• Stock products on shelves, racks, and displays.
• Replenish products when inventory is low.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and properly presented.
• Check product labels, prices, and signage for accuracy.
• Assist customers in finding products and answering basic questions.
• Help with inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Set up promotional and seasonal displays.
• Follow company safety and merchandising standards.
• Work with sales associates and store management to maintain product availability.
• Help with returns, damaged merchandise, and product transfers when required.
