Description
We're seeking an MEP Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems from preconstruction through closeout on Mission Critical / Data Center projects. This role places you at the center of highly complex, large-scale infrastructure projects where reliability, redundancy, and precision are paramount. Your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills will be essential to delivering facilities that meet the highest performance and uptime requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP scopes on large, complex Mission Critical and Data Center projects from planning through completion
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with contract documents, codes, commissioning requirements, and mission-critical performance standards
- Coordinate MEP activities with design teams, owners, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field leadership to ensure seamless integration of critical systems
- Support preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, scope development, value engineering, constructability reviews, and subcontractor buyout
- Ensure proper execution of commissioning processes, testing, startup, and turnover of critical systems
- Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for all MEP-related communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Mentor and develop project team members to maximize performance and long-term growth
- Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across future Mission Critical projects
Profile
What You Bring
- 5+ years of project management experience specializing in MEP systems on large-scale, complex construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including power distribution, backup power, cooling systems, and redundancy concepts
- Experience managing Mission Critical or Data Center projects is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments where uptime, reliability, and precision are critical
